Pour Over Coffee

Brew Time 3-4 Min

  1. Begin with 28 grams or 3 tablespoons of freshly ground (medium coarse) coffee per 12 oz. cup of water
  2. Place a paper, re-useable cloth or metal filter in ceramic dripper
  3. Boil filtered water and wait 30 secs to allow temperature to come down to about 200°F
  4. Wet the paper filter with hot water to remove paper flavor and discard water. This also pre-heats carafe
  5. Place grounds in filter and with a gooseneck kettle, pour just enough hot water to wet the grounds and allow to bloom for 30 seconds
  6. Continue pouring in concentric circles at a slow and steady rate, keeping the water between 1/2 to 3/4 full in the drippe. Enjoy immediately
