The bow shape of this handmade knife keeps the wire taught for precise cutting of butter, soft cheeses, polenta and dough.
Highly regarded as one of Europe's finest cutlery brands, the Berti family has been producing knives for over a hundred years in Italy. One knife maker works on each individual knife from start to finish, engraving the blade with their initials upon completion, confirming his craft and the knifes' value. Berti uses the same manufacturing techniques and materials - ox horn, boxwood and steel - that have been used since 1895. Their intent is to make knives with integrity and authenticity that cannot result from industrialized production, while offering some of the finest cutting tools in the world.
