The Mauviel copper frypan is professional grade cookware at its best. Known for its superior heat conduction and distribution, these copper pans are lined with a thin layer of stainless steel, eliminating the need to refinish as with traditional tin-lined pans. Copper pans heat efficiently from all sides, cutting down on energy use and cook time, while maintaining consistent temperature throughout. This means sear, brown and fry to your heart's content. Whereas cast iron is valued for heat retention, copper is light and nimble, enabling you to control heat with extreme precision.

CARE & USE
Always cook on lower heat than as with other pan materials to avoid burning your food. Copper requires much less heat and time, making if a sustainable choice for energy conservation. Copper will patina. To restore the pan to its original luster, use a copper cleaner or for a more natural alternative, create a paste of ketchup and salt, massage onto the surface and rinse.
